DP Barry Peterson takes us behind the scenes of It Ends With Us

As a cinematographer, it's safe to say that Barry Peterson's "made it." His resume lists blockbuster after blockbuster from Zoolander to 21 Jump Street to Game Night, but when he agreed to shoot It Ends With Us, his approach came down to story.

Shooting on location, instead of on a stage, created a lot of constraints with what equipment he would be able to use, but allowed the story's authenticity to take center stage. Peterson walks us through the two looks of the movie and his experience using the Sony VENICE 2 for the first time. Thankfully, the VENICE 2 brought a versatility that allowed him to break free of some of those constraints and to shoot something that was, in his own words, "heartfelt" and "not massive in scale".
