Sony Electronics Updates the Virtual Production Tool Set

The Color Calibrator tool bridges the gap between your camera and the display it's operating with. The Color Calibratorworks to match the display mode (HDR or SDR) of the display in conjunction with the "Camera and Display Plugin" Unreal Engine plugin.
The Color Calibrator can perform the following operations:
• Sample measurement image (color chart) from video captured by a camera.
• Perform calibration.
• Generate 3D LUT files for calibration.
• Compare and check calibration results.
• Manage calibration data as a project.
The Camera and Display Plugin comprises "Virtual Camera actors" for the pre-vis process, an "On-set Camera component", and a "Camera Control Panel" for the on-set (shooting) process.
