VIDEO: DP Sal Totino on sports biopic Unstoppable and the Sony VENICE 2

Director of Photography Salvatore Totino (Spiderman: Homecoming, Everest, Ghosted) has worked with some of the biggest directors in the industry, including Oliver Stone on Any Given Sunday to a long, storied collaboration with Ron Howard (Cinderella Man, Frost/Nixon, The DaVinci Code). In this video, Totino shares some of the lesson’s he’s learned working with these storied directors.
He also breaks down his latest film, Unstoppable, a sports biopic that centers around the life of wrestler Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg and won a national championship in 2011 while competing at Arizona State University.
Totino shares more on how he tells the story visually how the Sony VENICE 2, and VENICE Extension System were used to bring the story to life.
